April 03rd 2017

We are celebrating our platinum anniversary as the firm turns 70 this month.

The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that, due to a lack of time in which to implement the new probate fee system before the general election this June, the plans will be shelved.

We have formed a partnership with the University of Gloucestershire and have pledged our support to its law school.

April 2017 sees a raft of changes to legislation, particularly in the area of employment law. We take a look at five of the key changes that come into effect today (6 April).

Subject to parliamentary approval, the Ministry of Justice has announced that it anticipates that probate court fees will substantially increase from this May.

68 years ago today it was reported that our firm's founder, Alec Willans, acted in a case for a well-known Gloucestershire company - an iconic family business which we are pleased to still call a client today.
