I can help clients, ranging from large companies to private individuals, with a number of dispute resolution matters including:

• commercial property matters, including issues connected with lease renewals and dilapidations
• property claims, including boundary disputes
• landlord and tenant disputes
• wills, trusts and probate disputes/claims
• commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims
• TOLATA claims
• injunction applications
• professional negligence claims.

My experience includes:

• two reported cases dealing with applications for injunctions to enforce post termination restrictive covenants contained in contracts of employment
• successfully acting for landlords in resolving disputes with their tenants. These have included complex possession claims, including interim possession orders as well as issues relating to disrepair claims
• advising on a variety of property disputes, including boundary disputes, disputes related to rights of way and/or parking, adverse possession claims, rights of light disputes and issues relating to restrictions and unilateral notices
• successfully resolving a very complex Inheritance Act claim which involved a number of beneficiaries, which included children
• a successful appeal to the UK Supreme Court in 2022.
