• Acting on behalf of a defendant client in the High Court in a contested claim for an alleged breach of contract and infringement of copyright. The case was determined after a five-day trial which led to an enquiry into damages which ultimately settled at mediation. This was a case which involved complicated disputes of both law and fact and my client was very pleased with the settlement that was achieved at mediation.
• We acted for our client as defendant in contested proceedings issued by her mother against the estate of her late husband under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. This was a very complicated dispute involving multiple parties and was important to our client as it concerns the property, she has resided in for the past 20 years and the extent of her interest in the estate.
