I am a corporate and commercial law specialist with over 15 years’ experience.

The clients that I work with range from start-ups and owner-managed businesses to multi-million-pound companies with a global reach.

I have a particular interest in the renewable energy sector (particularly developers of, and investors in, wind, solar and anaerobic digestion projects).

I am recognised by national legal guides, The Legal 500 and Chambers UK. I am also a member of GFirst LEP’s business members’ group.

Experience highlights

  • Advising Bristol-headquartered Resource Solutions Group plc, a resourcing solutions company with a turnover approaching £500m, on its acquisition of Sopra Steria Recruitment Limited, a company that contributed over €129m to its former group’s revenue in 2018.
  • Advising a longstanding client in the renewable energy sector on the diversification of its investments through the acquisition of a 25% shareholding in a fish processing company. The deal was completed within a month, including securing the funding arrangements.
  • Section 110 reconstructions for various purposes (including refinancing, business partners heading in different directions, divorce and protection of assets), including acting for the liquidator on occasion.
  • Advising developers on joint ventures for the construction and operation of wind turbines, and the refinancing of such projects.
