I am a partner in our wills, trusts & probate team.

I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which means that I have completed post-qualification exams specialising in this area of law. I enjoy helping clients with complex estate and tax planning, lifetime trusts and the administration of estates.

I have an interest in helping business owners, from start-ups through to established companies, safeguard their business interests and build a legacy which can be passed on to the next generation in the most tax-efficient way.

My experience includes:

  • Assisting clients with the creation of lifetime trusts for the benefit of their wider family, as both a tax planning tool and a means of planning for the next generation and their complex needs
  • Helping business owners with ‘crisis and succession planning’ for their commercial interests, ensuring that this meets the needs of their business and their family
  • Preparing a successful application for a ‘grant on credit’, where executors of a substantial estate were unable to fund the payment of inheritance tax without the grant of probate.
