I have been part of the residential property team at Willans for 30 years.

I help my clients with the rigours of moving house from a legal point of view, dealing with all aspects of the sale and purchase process, investigating the legal title and the logistics required to get the completion dates my clients need.

  • Dealing with all third parties needed to achieve a successful sale and purchase, such as surveyors, mortgage brokers and estate agents as well as the other lawyers involved in any given transaction, whether local or not.
  • Dealing with the legal aspects required for conveyancing: investigating the legal title to properties, drafting contracts for sales, drafting more complex documentation for selling plots of land or parts of a property, including creating new leases for flats.
  • Reviewing purchase contracts and transfer deeds and leases.
  • Dealing with the mortgage lender’s requirements both for purchases and for repaying mortgages for sales.
