Willans advises on acquisition of Move Property Sales & Lettings

17 June 2026

Willans’ corporate & commercial team has recently advised the sellers on the sale of Gloucestershire-based Move Property Sales & Lettings to ‘proptech’ business Dwelly.

The transaction strengthens Dwelly’s presence across the South West.

Corporate partner Peter Raybould advised on all aspects of the acquisition, working closely with Move founder George Tatham-Losh. Peter guided the transaction through to a successful completion while protecting the interests of the sellers and ensuring a smooth handover of the business.

Founded in Cheltenham, Move has established a strong reputation across the region for both residential sales and lettings. Following completion of the transaction, Tatham-Losh will remain closely involved in supporting the team.

Peter Raybould, partner in the corporate and commercial team said: “We were delighted to support George and the Move team on this important transaction. Move has built an outstanding reputation across the region, and this deal represents an exciting opportunity for the business to continue its growth while preserving the values, culture and customer focus that have underpinned its success. It was a pleasure to work closely with George throughout the process and help deliver a successful outcome.”

Speaking about the deal, Tatham-Losh said: “Peter and the team at Willans provided excellent support throughout the transaction. Their commercial approach, responsiveness and clear advice helped guide us through every stage of the process and gave me confidence that the deal would complete smoothly and on time.”
