One week left to enter the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2025

20 June 2025

Our firm is once again poised to help celebrate and recognise the county’s most inspirational, successful and innovative businesses, as co-headline partners of SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2025.

As one of the most anticipated events in the business community’s calendar, the SoGlos Gloucestershire Business Awards 2025 will bring together finalists and sponsors to celebrate excellence in the region — highlighting pioneering start-ups and entrepreneurs to family-run companies and Gloucestershire’s top 100 organisations.

If your business or colleagues deserve to be recognised for their hard work and success, entries for all 20 SGGBA awards categories are open until Sunday 29 June 2025.

Categories include ‘Small business of the year’, ‘Corporate social responsibility award’ and ‘Best place to work’, along with two new categories: ‘Businesswoman of the year’ and ‘Business leader of the year’.

Chris Wills, partner and head of our corporate & commercial team, will once again join the judging panel, which will meet to discuss entries between July and October 2025. Winners will then be revealed at the live awards ceremony on Thursday 6 November 2025 at Cheltenham Town Hall.

Willans is co-headline partners of the awards, alongside Hazlewoods accountants.

“Gloucestershire has so much to be proud of, and as a firm deeply rooted in the county, Willans is delighted to support the companies that help it flourish,” said Chris, speaking about the awards.

“As corporate solicitors, our team works with a wide range of local, national and international businesses on a daily basis, yet the judging process always teaches me something new about the drive and determination it takes to achieve success.”
