Make a Will Month 2026: Discussing all things wills on the radio

26 March 2026

‘Make a Will Month’ has been taking place this March, and our wills, trusts & probate team is proud to have participated and supported a local charity for the thirteenth consecutive year.

An initiative that sets out to help those aged 55 and over to make or update a simple will, Make a Will Month encourages people to get their affairs in order for free in return for a charitable donation.

A number of participating solicitors around the country have been involved, and our wills, trusts & probate team is proud to have continued its 13-year streak of support for local charity, Cobalt. The scheme has raised over £130,000 since the campaign started 15 years ago, helping to fund research and prevention, state-of-the-art scanning and diagnosis, specialised nursing posts and cancer facilities for the NHS.

Recently, our inheritance & trusts disputes specialist, Claire Cox, took to BBC Radio Gloucestershire to discuss the importance of wills and how they can help to avoid problems further down the line after someone has passed away.
