BBC Points West reports on inheritance dispute

13 May 2026

BBC Gloucestershire has reported on Willans’ recent High Court victory, with the story featured on BBC One’s regional news programme, BBC Points West.

On Friday 8 May, Gloucestershire reporter Steve Knibbs shared the story about four sisters who will inherit their father’s estate after successfully challenging a will he made while suffering from delusional beliefs about them. Willans acted for the four daughters, who argued that the will was invalid.

Following the judgment, Steve Knibbs interviewed Willans’ partner Claire Cox, who led the case, and two of her clients.

The inheritance dispute had been ongoing over four years and reinforces the importance of having robust safeguards in place when creating a will.
