From Padstow to Cheltenham - we welcome a UK celebrity chef to our offices

06 October 2015

We held a private event during the Cheltenham Literature Festival which included a rare visit from UK chef, writer and broadcaster, Rick Stein.

We welcomed 20 clients and contacts to our offices in Imperial Square for a drinks reception and light supper several hours before attending our sponsored event at the festival.

A Festival Partner, Willans were the event sponsor of Rick Stein’s talk at The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival. He shared his latest Eastern Mediterranean recipes and experiences, and spoke about his new BBC book, From Venice to Istanbul, which went on sale this summer.

Bridget Redmond, managing partner, said that the evening was made more special by having Mr Stein attend the private reception at their offices.

“Rick’s talents as a chef, a television presenter, food writer and businessman are quite remarkable. It was a pleasure and an honour to have him attend our supper – he was quite a hit amongst our guests.

“We are a long-time supporter of the Festivals and are thrilled to have sponsored this culinary themed event. His talk was entertaining and inspiring.”
