Willans rankings announced in Chambers 2013

02 November 2012

Legal directory, Chambers 2013 published its results today and Willans has yet again been recommended for its work in the region.

Four of our partners are recommended with personal rankings including family partner James Grigg who has retained the highest ranking in the county. Commenting on his work, Chambers says: “Willans is well placed to support clients in contentious financial matters. He has recently been successful in settling disputes using the pioneering alternative resolution conferences (ARCs), which include input from multiple firms and barristers’ chambers”.

A new entrant to Chambers individual rankings is our company commercial partner Paul Symes–Thompson. Chambers comments he is: “…described by sources as a tour de force in the Cheltenham market. He advises on a range of corporate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals”.

In our commercial property team, clients inform researchers that “we are able to easily complete transactions” when partner Jonathan Mills is involved, and Susie Wynne is “always extremely professional and can be relied upon to give sound, realistic advice,” sources say.

Lastly, Chambers adds: Willans has earned the loyalty of clients thanks to its attentive approach to their needs as well as its “great industry knowledge,” “good spread of expertise” and “advice that has been well considered.”
