Bookings now being taken for ‘Building flexibility into your workforce’ seminar

25 August 2017

Flexible working patterns are becoming increasingly common, but is your business making the most of the options available, and are you aware of the potential legal pitfalls?

Our employment law team will be returning to Stonehouse Court Hotel to deliver a half-day ‘Building flexibility into your workforce’ workshop on Thursday 21 September.

The workshop, which will include an opportunity for networking, is aimed at directors and senior executives responsible for HR and risk management.

It has been designed to help employers clear the fog around the law on flexible working, avoid legal pitfalls and tailor working practices to suit the needs of both their businesses and their employees.

Matthew Clayton, Chambers-rated employment law partner and host of the seminar, said: “Flexible and alternative working arrangements, such as job sharing, home-working, term-time only and ‘gig’ working, are fast becoming the norm. But for employers, navigating the maze of flexible working possibilities can be a confusing process, and when time is short, it can be a challenge to keep up with the ever-changing requirements of employment law.”

“This workshop is ideal if you are looking to refresh your knowledge, to analyse the latest legal developments in this area, and to assess whether you are making the most of flexible working options for the benefit of your organisation.”

The workshop will run between 9am and 1:30pm and costs £30 per person, including lunch and VAT. To book, call 01242 542931 or email events@willans.co.uk.
