David first joined Willans in 2000 as a solicitor in the wills, probate and trusts team. His wide experience includes administering high value and complex estates, drafting wills and trust instruments and providing tax-planning solutions for high-net-worth clients. In 2004 he left private practice to seek a different type of challenge, working for the Solicitors Regulation Authority within their compensation fund team, where he has been dealing with complex, ‘forensic accounting’ style work, mainly on probate-related files. He has returned this year to assist with our busy workload.
