Mediations on the increase

CEDR, the dispute resolution body, conducted a mediation audit in 2012 for civil and commercial mediators and has recorded that the annual number of mediations has risen from 6,000 to 8,000 since their last survey.

Interestingly, they have found that 90 per cent of cases now settle at mediation.
