Philip Allen joins our wills, probate and trusts department this week (10th August) as an associate solicitor.

Philip moves from Wrigleys, a nationally recognised niche private client law firm in Leeds. He specialises in wills, trusts and tax planning and has particular experience in the administration of complex estates.

It’s a return home for Philip, who comes from Gretton and was educated at Pate’s Grammar School. He has worked in Leeds since qualifying as a solicitor in 1998.

Philip said: “I am delighted to be moving back to Gloucestershire and look forward to being involved in the continuing development of the firm’s flourishing private client department."

Partner Jenifer Gillman, who heads up Willans’ wills, trusts and probate team, said: “Philip comes from a firm quoted in legal circles as “housing some of the best brains and people around”. His experience and ability, combined with an easy, friendly style will be a great asset to us and to our clients.”
